CAASPP and ELPAC: 2023–24 Planned Systems Downtimes

Dear LEA CAASPP Coordinator or LEA ELPAC Coordinator:

Throughout the 2023–24 test administration year, various California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) systems will experience the following scheduled downtimes:

Thursday, July 27, 2023, 5 p.m. (CERS only)	Tuesday, August 1, 2023, 8 a.m.
Friday, July 28, 2023, 5 p.m.	Tuesday, August 1, 2023, 8 a.m.
Friday, September 15, 2023, 5 p.m.	Tuesday, September 19, 2023, 8 a.m.
Thursday, January 4, 2024, 5 p.m.	Tuesday, January 9, 2024, 8 a.m.
Friday, April 19, 2024, 5 p.m.	Monday, April 22, 2024, 8 a.m.

Additional information about impacted systems and other scheduled downtimes is available on the CAASPP Planned System Downtime and ELPAC Planned System Downtime web pages. Select a downtime date displayed on the calendar to view which system(s) will be inactive. The web pages also include scheduled weekend maintenance downtimes, which are used for periodic systems maintenance.
