CAASPP and ELPAC: CERS-SIS Integration Feature for Creating Student Groups Now Available

Dear LEA CAASPP Coordinator or LEA ELPAC Coordinator:
The California Education Reporting System (CERS) has a new feature that allows each local educational agency (LEA) to integrate its student information system (SIS) with CERS. The CERS–SIS integration feature automates the process of creating teacher–student group assignments in CERS and provides a secure transfer of student groups from the SIS to CERS.
Each LEA interested in using this new feature must work with its SIS vendor to make the necessary configuration. The Vendor Integration web page lists SIS vendors that have successfully piloted this new feature and are ready to provide this service. Additional SIS vendors are expected to pilot-test this integration feature with CERS over the coming months.
