CAASPP: Using Assessment Data for Decision-Making Training Is Now Available
CAASPP email update, October 29, 2020.
Dear LEA CAASPP Coordinator:
Materials for the training CAASPP: Using Assessment Data for Decision-Making (formerly known as "The Results Are In—Now What?") are now available!
This virtual training focuses on helping local educational agency and school site leaders use their own assessment data—from a variety of assessment sources—to make informed decisions about teaching and learning. It consists of a series of four modules that, while designed for local facilitation in small teams, can also be accessed for individual training.
The following topics are explored:
- Module 1—What can data tell me about current student learning?
- Module 2—What does my data tell me?
- Module 3—How do I communicate about my data?
- Module 4—Making sense of Smarter Balanced data
To access the materials for this training, visit the 2020–21 CAASPP: Using Assessment Data for Decision-Making Registration web page. After submitting the short registration form, you will receive an email containing a link to the training materials for download, including PowerPoint slides with notes and instructional videos for the four content modules.
Questions about this training can be directed to CalTAC by phone at 800-955-2954 or by email at caltac@ets.org.
